Get ready to mix some bricks with bots in this summer workshop that promises to be more fun than a cat in a sunbeam. It's a hands-on adventure where you'll get to find out just how robots tick. Ever wondered what makes a robot dance or maybe even judge your dance moves? Well, here's your chance to learn all about the magic of programming while you tinker and create.
Whether you're a budding engineer, a curious creator, or just someone who thinks robots should serve snacks, this workshop runs by a pro from Fizzics Education will guide you through a series of challenges tailored just for you. We're targeting the young masterminds aged 12 to 15, so don't worry if you're more about the fun than the science – there's plenty of both to go around. Just remember, it's free, but you'll need to sign up since spots are as limited as a robot's ability to roll its eyes. Mark your calendars for 14 January 2025, from 2 PM until 3:30 PM at Bathurst Library, where the only thing cooler than the bots will be the brains behind them.
