Get ready for a fab afternoon as BMEC rolls out the red carpet for a special screening of "." This classic Aussie flick follows the dazzling adventures of two drag queens and a transgender woman as they hop into a tour bus, decked out to the nines, and hit the outback road to bring their cabaret show to an unsuspecting remote town. Buckle up, because you can bet they'll encounter a whole cast of quirky characters along the way that will have you laughing and maybe even questioning your own fashion choices.

Starring a powerhouse lineup including Hugo Weaving, Terence Stamp, Guy Pearce, Bill Hunter, and June Marie Bennett, this film is basically a love letter to self-expression, friendship, and the vibrant power of glitter. So make sure you don your best outfit—or at least put on some decent pants—before heading over to the Ian Macintosh Theatre on Sunday, 29 June 2025.
