Got some young footballers itching to show off their skills on the pitch? The Proctor Park Challenge is coming up, inviting teams in the Under 12 and Under 14/15/16 age groups from the Girls Youth League, Association Representatives, and various Clubs to join in on some fun—and shortened—games over a weekend. It's the perfect way for these budding superstars to shake off the winter cobwebs and kick-start their pre-season with some friendly competition. Plus, it'll give parents a reason to bust out their fold-up chairs and enjoy a weekend of grassroots football.

Whether you're a seasoned spectator or just someone who wandered in from the park looking for something to do, there's no entry fee for watching the action unfold. So swing by Proctor Park, located at Gormans Hill Road in Bathurst, from 8am on Saturday the 15th of February to 5pm on Sunday the 16th. Bring some snacks, settle in, and cheer on this next generation of football stars as they dribble, pass, and maybe even surprise you with their footwork—all while keeping the competition light-hearted and spirited.
