From April 6 to April 27, 2025, Miss Traill's House and Garden is throwing open its doors to anyone curious enough to wander through history in Bathurst. This charming abode, gifted to the National Trust by the illustrious Ida in 1976, is now a chic little house museum. Inside, you'll find a treasure trove of quirky artifacts, including furniture that survived the test of time, some snazzy horse racing memorabilia (because who doesn't love a good equestrian story), and a mix of paintings and ceramics that'll have you feeling cultured in no time—just don't ask about the family drama lingering in the background.

So, what's the price of admission to this slice of history? If you're an adult, it'll cost you a mere $12; discounts abound for concessions at $10, and families can saunter through together for just $34. Little ones under five can come along for free—because they're probably just as interested in scaring the dust bunnies as they are in the artifacts.
