Bathurst Library is throwing its very first , a chance for writers from the Central West to strut their literary stuff and connect with fellow wordsmiths. Expect a lighthearted Q&A where each writer will share a bit about their journey—hopefully minus any melodrama involving rejected manuscripts or caffeine-induced breakdowns. After that, it's your turn to join the fun; writers and audience members can mix and mingle, swapping stories and maybe even some solid advice on tackling those pesky writing themes like LGBTQI+, addiction, and the mythical pursuit of publication.

So, if you've got questions about the art of writing or just want to chat about how you can turn your latest existential crisis into a best-selling novel, this is the place to be. Mark your calendars for Saturday, 16 November 2024, from 3 PM to 5 PM at Bathurst Library, located at 70-78 Keppel Street. Remember, it's free, but you'll want to secure your spot with a booking, because let's face it, who doesn't love a good literary gathering sprinkled with a dash of humor and a side of inspiration?
