Prepare yourselves for a gaming extravaganza that could put the Olympics to shame—without all those tiring physical feats. On 2 November 2024, Bathurst Library will transform into a gamer's paradise from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Dust off your favourite board games and get ready to unleash your inner champion in colossal board games that might just require a small army to manage. And if you've ever wanted to strut your stuff in some epic cosplay, now's your chance because there are prizes for the best get-ups. Because who doesn't want to be rewarded for dressing like a wizard or a space invader?

But we're not stopping there—VR demos and some impressive robotics are waiting, thanks to our pals at The Clubhouse. Fancy some friendly competition? Check out Headspace's Fair Game social gaming group, or enjoy your childhood nostalgia with Nintendo Wii on a screen so big you might just get lost in it. Plus, there'll be some LARPing demonstrations from Battlecry that are way too cool to miss. And hey, it's free—so why not? Just remember to book ahead, or you might end up standing in the corner wondering why you didn't channel your inner Mario sooner.
