On 5 May 1893, the World's Columbian Exposition kicked off, showcasing the wonders of 46 countries. Among the myriad attractions, Bathurst proudly displayed its own treasures as part of the New South Wales segment. So, who were the lucky souls who put Bathurst on the global map? And what dazzling exhibits were they showing off that made folks from far and wide take a peek?
Join Kim Bagot-Hiller for a stroll down memory lane as she spills the beans on how Bathurst basked in international glory. This laid-back history chat will take place at Bathurst Library during the Autumn Colours Heritage Festival, where the only thing more exciting than the exhibits will be the stories behind them. Just remember, space is tighter than your favourite pair of jeans after the holidays, so you might want to ring up 6333 6281 to snag your spot.
When: Wednesday, 07 May 2025, 06:00 PM - 07:30 PM
Where: Bathurst Library, 70-78 Keppel Street, 2795, Australia
