Experience the hidden treasures at the heart of the music of Haydn, Mozart and Mendelssohn's string quartets, in this inspiring and educational performance by principal artists of the renowned Australian Haydn Ensemble, leading exponents of historically informed performance.

This is an interactive workshop designed for aspiring musicians to hear the concepts of music in action and explore historical instruments up close, with detailed demonstrations, unpacking of the building blocks of music, and an exploration of the sound world of the composers as they were in their own times.
