Opera Queensland is pulling out all the stops on this ambitious regional tour, covering over 8,000 kilometres and stopping by more than 30 towns since 2021. Now, Bathurst gets its moment in the spotlight, and trust me, you won't want to miss this eclectic mix of young Australian talent strutting their operatic stuff.

You'll be treated to a smorgasbord of tunes featuring the likes of Puccini and Verdi, all the way to Slim Dusty and Dolly Parton. So dust off your jeans and boots or go full glam in your best tuxedo or ballgown—this is opera that you can enjoy without feeling like you're at a stuffy wine-tasting gala. Just go with the flow and get ready to experience a show that's diverse, accessible, and might even make you forget you're at an opera. Prices are pretty good too—grab an early bird ticket for $30, or roll in later for a still-reasonable $40. There's a special deal for BMEC members at $35.
